Privacy Policy
Metric Global website is owned by Metric Consultancy Private Limited, which is a data controller of your personal data.
1. Introduction
This policy explains how M/s Metric Consultancy Limited ("Metric", "we", "us") collects and uses personal information through the PVBU Audit Tool. It applies from the date shown above.
The PVBU Audit Tool has two parts:
A WhatsApp audit service. Our auditors use it to record infrastructure audits of automobile workshops and stockyards, by answering questions and sending photos, documents and their location.
A web dashboard. Our staff and our clients' authorised users use it to review audit results and download reports.
This policy covers our auditors, the dealership and stockyard staff who assist them during an audit, and the people who use the dashboard. We carry out these audits on behalf of our clients. Metric is responsible for the personal information described here.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what is needed to carry out and review audits.

Photos are of workshop and stockyard premises. They can sometimes show people, vehicles or number plates. Auditors are asked to avoid photographing people where possible.
We do not collect location continuously. The location is captured once, when the auditor shares it to start an audit.
3. How we use the information
We use the information only to run the audit programme. Specifically, we use it to:
conduct audits through WhatsApp, and save progress so an audit can resume after a lost connection
confirm that an audit took place at the site, and when
calculate scores and produce scorecards and reports
let our quality-control staff review and correct audit entries, keeping a record of every change
give our clients' authorised users the results for their area
contact an auditor, or a site's contact person, about an audit
keep the service secure and fix problems
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising or marketing.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the following, and only for the purposes in section 3.

Where the law requires us to
Our service providers process information on our instructions and under their own security and privacy terms. Some of them may process information outside India.
5. Storage, security and retention
Audit data is kept in a secured database and in private file storage. Files can be opened only by signed-in users with permission to see that audit. We protect the service in these ways:
Access by role. Clients see only their assigned region or zone, and can only read.
Verified messages. Every message is checked to confirm it genuinely comes from WhatsApp.
Change history. Every correction made during quality review is recorded, and original photos are kept rather than deleted.
We keep audit records, including photos and documents, for [the duration of the audit engagement plus X years], or longer if the law or a contract requires it. After that, we delete or anonymise them. Technical message logs are kept for [X months].
6. Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it
correct or complete information that is wrong or incomplete
erase your information, where we no longer need it for the purposes above or to meet a legal obligation
withdraw any consent you have given, without affecting what was done before
nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf
To make a request, contact us using the details in section 7. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Auditors can stop using the WhatsApp service at any time. Audit records already submitted may still be kept as described in section 5.
7. Children, changes and contact
Children. The PVBU Audit Tool is for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy. We may update this policy when the service or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be shared with auditors and dashboard users.
